in Corn Shellers Videos

Here is a video of how an Old International 1-Hole Hand Cranked Corn Sheller works. It also shows the demonstration of its operation. A belt pulley on the flywheel side was installed so that this machine can be run with gas engine. To make things go faster, a second person was needed to help feed the corns. The owner of this corn sheller plans to tear the corn sheller down to clean and repaint it, to make it look much better. But for now, the important part is works well.

I just purchased a corn sheller that looks very similar to this International. It too had been used as a lawn ornament (very rusty and locked up). I’m planning on restoring this. So far I’ve been unable to locate any manufactures model number, etc.

Do you have any tips and/or suggestions for me. Also, do you know what year yours was manufactured.

Would appreciate and comments.
